![]() It's recommended you concentrate on your Manticore first, as that arguably benefits the most troops, however the dragon ogres are a good bet because they minimise the amount of troops you're risking gathering on a particularly aggressive server and also the Doom knights are good for those long marches across the map to get to warp nodes during the warp events, reinforcing far off encampments or just general marching if you're tied to a city and can't move. Rank 1 Level 1 > Level 2 > Level 3 > Level 4 > Level 5 > Rank 2 Level 1 > Level 2 and so on. Once a warlord hits level five you have the opportunity to rank them up with your soul fragments.Įach rank up will reset the warlord's level back to 1. Leveling up your warlord costs Warlord honour up until level five. I levelled up my starting Shaggoth quite heavily at the start and then almost immediately got a Rare Manticore guy, so I felt pretty dumb about that and would like to avoid squandering these apparently precious resources (ie: I spent most of my Warpstone and Speed-up stockpile getting that rank in the GUO challenge).Įach warlord has five ranks, and within those ranks five levels. ![]() I'm just looking for any kind of leg-up in my understanding. Please don't feel obliged to respond to all of this. I also don't understand how Warlord Honour (which seems to be a universal levelling currency) interacts with Fragments. Is there some general guidance that would serve me well in this regard? I have no idea how the Fragments in my inventory relate to what I'm seeing in my Warlord screens, eg: how to best use my Fragments stockpile. Now as soon as I received my reward, the game seems to be prompting me to level up my Core Warlords, but my instinct (just based on other games in general) is to save up to level my Rare and Epic guys. I'm quite new to both Conquest and PvP RTS-type games in general, but somehow did quite well in the recent Great Unclean One challenge, scoring myself a GUO, 30 Warlord Honour and (I think) a few varied Soul Fragments.
